I think you can sometimes get a mammas & pappas aria twin for that price.

I had one (bought SH for £50) but didn't get on with it as it was difficult to get in my lift and didn't fit through my front door. If you have a a nice wide front door (wider than 80cm) and don't live in a flat, you could try looking for one of those - it's light, folds up small and you can get a toddler & baby version with more room for older child.

If not, I'd say look for a tandem or double decker model.

I would definitely recommend the we2 combi. They are quite expensive brand new but we managed to get a SH barely used one for £50 off ebay. It seems to be narrower than a lot of side by sides whilst still having plenty of room for a 3yr old and almost 2yr old to sit in comfortably. We have found it to be very manouverable and is also quite light and small when folded. We absolutely love ours and still use it occasionally now for long shopping trips.

you'd be able to get a fixed wheel double nipper for within your budget, I just bought one for £40, pushes like a dream :)

Another one that's simalar to the we2 Combi is Mothercares Duolite which is manufactured by Graco so there's a Graco model the same but with a different name that i can't remember off the top of my head...Probably find some on eBay if you trawl through Groaco pushchairs rather than a specific name...The Mothercare one brand new is £155 so easily get a 2nd hand one in your budget.

PS...I've got the single version Graco Citisport and i love it as it's so nippy and light.

i had a graco stadium duo (tandem) for my 2 and it was fab for in town really easy to push, comfy for baby in back and good sized front seat for toddler. huge shoppiong basket too (you need to sit baby up a bit to get stuff in it though) usually comes with a footmuff for toddler (front apron)
i got mine brand new for £99 with front apron and paid £7.99 for a matching footmuff for baby, and £10 for a raincover.

have a look on ebay you might get one close you can pick up:)

depends what age your eldest will be too??

a tandem will be heavier to push with a large 3yo in front, (i had a small 18m old in mine)
