Carseat on Wheels

While i was pregnant i saw an advert in magazine about wheels that attach to your carseat, they click out of the back like a suitcase handle.

I threw the magazine at the time but now my DS is 3months old and between him and the very bulky silvercross carseat my arm looks like i am training to be a bodybuilder!!

I have scoured the internet and found a site in America but i am sure it would have been a UK company to have advertised in a pregnancy magazine here.

If anyone has herd of or seen this please let me know.

Ooo yeah I've seen it in a catalogue. Hmmm perhaps JoJo Maman Bebe?

Not sure I like the look of it myself I must say....... looks awfully low to the ground, I'd be worried about someone tripping over it. Also would imagine it to be a bit of a bumpy ride for baby.

Oh my god thank you! i have just ordered it, i have been looking for a while with no luck but knew a mumsnetter would be able to help thanks so much!

I agree it is quite low but i have got the silvercross 3d carseat and even without baby in it it weighs a ton i need something as my one arm is definatly bigger than the other!

No probs. Smile

I agree... car seats are helluva heavy.... wait til the baby is 9 months old..... I could barely get mine out of the car by then!

CleanHankie · 02/01/2011 22:48

Someone at DD1's Nursery has one of those. Must be the car seat, as she had a Silvercross one Smile. Thought it was ideal for Nursery drop off as the parking for ours is a 2 min walk away. Too far for carrying heavy car seats, too close to faff with putting up the pram.

Warning, it does sound like a trolley case being wheeled along!

Baby Wheel Easy
Looks like a luggage trolley for car seat!
Alternatively you could pre tie a didymos (or other brand similar wrap style) sling on and pop baby in that for quick trips!

There are also other ways to pre-tie the sling on - and you can even make your own wrap sling out of a length of cloth (although the bought versions are excellent as especially woven to be comfortable and grippy cloth) Wink
