i had a kaiser xl for my daughter.
the fleece lined one that is waterproof on the outside. it was FAB,so cosy, very good quality,we bought it in the october and it was used everyday, she was always cosy.

we now have a buggysnuggle for ds and its lovely but not as warm and cosy for winter,

clumsymumluckybaby · 01/01/2011 21:02

oh,im so glad someone has had one!
just now unsure about whether it will be too long for my buggy...Hmm

We've got one, it's fantastic, and long enough for 14mo DS2 who is the size of an average 2yo

clumsymumluckybaby · 01/01/2011 22:02

ooh,thats good,dd is a (short)2.5yrs
whitch one did you go for?
i cant decide between the 'igloo' or the 'thermo' Grin

flowerytaleofNewYork · 01/01/2011 22:22

Well it would be way too long for your DS, yes but I can't see that would matter - he'll grow quickly anyway and you can wrap a blanket round his little legs inside it if you want something closer-fitting.

Um, I think it was an iglu thermo, not one or the other, hang on let me find a pic, here

clumsymumluckybaby · 01/01/2011 22:31

brill thankyou, could i tuck it under itself at the bottom iyswim,or is it too stiff? i cant tell from the pic's...it's just i have the britax b-dual, and im worried it'd stick in my dd's face...in the kid facing kid mode

OP posts:
flowerytaleofNewYork · 01/01/2011 22:35

Don't think you could tuck it under itself, no. It's very thick and sturdy.

clumsymumluckybaby · 01/01/2011 22:44

thankyouSmile and...dam.

the search continues...

a kaiser xl wouldn't be suitable i dont think, maybe a buggysnuggle would be better?

on the page you linked to the picture at the bottom shows a footmuff/apron on the seat, could you get one of those?im sure you can get different sizes of kaiser? i had the xl (xtra long) for my tall dd,but surely they do a smaller one - up to 12m that would fit?

sazm · 02/01/2011 10:36

(i have the britax one ,tis rubish...)

umm,i tryed that, but my buggysnuggles are the thickest you can get,so they make the seat too small iyswim.
so im trying to decide between this one
or the kaiser...

we do do (hehe) alot of walking,i dont drive,it's not particualy cold (we are in south england)...i do like those buggysnuggles alot i think they'd probably be best any how,as i swap the kids between the seats and i dont want to have to keep swapping around buggysnuggles, and if i got two large kaisers the top one would poke dd in the face if she was in the bottom seat!
the bs's are just more expencive Blush

have a look on ebay at buggysnuggles too , i bought one for £55,it was on an ebay shop brand new for £22 a few weeks later!

MonkeysPunk · 02/01/2011 23:04

if you go to www.pushchairs.co.uk and look at general pushchair accessories you will find alvi snuggle bags in two different sizes. They are similar to kaiser but better quality and while thick and warm not so heavy. The outlast space technology version is awesome too. The baby size alvi will be fine for your youngest or just get the larger size and tighten drawstring at head to fit.

clumsymumluckybaby · 02/01/2011 23:10

thankyou Grin
