Argh which 1? Zapp extra or bee plus??

Hi ok which one would you get??
Basically would like it to face bothways,
For short trips, car, holidays etc
Prob last child 'so' really would like her facing 'me' as much as poss or until she gets board! Lol
She will be 2 in a few months
Have a vigour 3 plus for 'walking' distances,
Has an afternoon nap
Oh and do either of these fold with seat facing parent?

without a doubt!
much better quaility,folds facing either way my 2.5 fits in the bee (and sleeps in it!),so the bee+ would be even better! its soo small and nippy!
i also had the vigour and loved it!

I believe the zapp extra comes in two pieces, so not ideal if you want something that folds down in one.
But it does recline flat when facing you. And it's cheaper.

On;y problme with Zapp Xtra is that is doesnt sit upright in parent facing mode, so a 2 year old might not like lying reclined when out and about.

Hi I am a quinny caster testing the quinny zapp xtra. I love it, it does come in two pices so to fold down you do need to remove the seat first. The seat is upright in parent facing mode, you can drop it back tpo recline or have it up. The Quinny Zapp Xtra is cheaper - I have seen it under £200 in the sales.

I havent any experience of the bee+ but do rate the Zapp Xtra. It is easy to push, lightweight and compact. My daughter has a really comfy ride in the zapp xtra.

Not very upright, though, is it. Certainly not fully upright. More of a Roman recline, IYKWIM (think men in togas eating grapes).

Don't get me wrong -- I love the original Quinny Zapp, but haven't quite worked out why anyone would buy the Zapp Extra, when it's meant to be a compact folding stroller but then the designers went ahead and added the most irritating non-folding-friendly feature of the Buzz.

We find that having the Zapp original and the Buzz covers all our pushchair needs nicely.

The Zapp Xtra didn't look very upright in the Quinny video, come to think of it. Perhaps, as a three wheeler, it wouldn't be very stable? In America, the Zapp has four wheels.

I tried a Bee+ but couldn't make it fold neatly with a footmuff in place (in rear facing). You can always buy both, try out at home and take one back.
I've been through three pushchairs so far like that and still can't find what I want.

Perhaps Quinny will do a Senzz Xtra?

We have a Zapp Xtra and find my little one can sit upright just fine. I like the fact it reclines in so many positions. He also sleeps really well in it :)

It's lightweight too so great for taking on hoiday (as we do!).

I agree beanlet, it is not fully upright. I hadn't really thought about it as my lil one s only 13 months so doesnt sit bolt upright. I guess the advantage of the Xtra is the parent facing - it aids specch development between parent and child and also the recline feature that the original didn't have. These are both definate pluses for me :)

clumsymumsnowdriftbaby have you got the plus or the other one?....just wondered as i thought as this is going to be my last purchase weather its new or second hand id better get it right! lol

One thing I will say about the bee plus - in rear facing mode there is no footrest and the seat is VERY upright, so I found DD looked very uncomfortable in it when rear facing, and tended to slump in the seat.
You may well find that once your baby's legs have outgrown the leg rest, you have to switch to forward - just take your LO to try out in the shop and you will see what I mean.

i am loving my zapp xtra! is fantastic facing both ways nad my 8 month old nad 2.5 year old both sleep really really well in it :) very pleased!
The bee+ was just too expensive for us!
