Phil & Teds Explorer - problems with sunhood

I've just been putting together my new P&T Explorer and the sun hood just won't fit on to the chassis - it seems to be the wrong shape.

I'm very pregnant, so I don't know if it's my pregnancy brain, or if it's faulty. Has anyone else had any problems?

There are problems with some of the clips. Check on their website. Some of the P&T hoods were made with Mountain Buggy parts so they won't fit, or they'll ping off if you manage to force it on.

They'll want you to send the serial number (it's on the left hand side) of your pram and photo's of the clips so they can see if they are wacky or not.

I watched the video on their site and they guy gets it on so easily, so I emailed P&T to ask about the wacky clips. I just wasn't pushing hard enough

Go to the P&T blog, and in the ARchives, October 2010, there will be an entry for Wacky Clips on Sunhoods, it will show you which are for P&T and which for Mountain Buggy

I looked at the video on the website too and couldn't believe how easily that bloke clipped it on. I'll email them and see what they say, although maybe I've just got feeble fingers...

Hey, resurrecting this from ages ago - fragola (or anyone else who had this problem), do you have an update???

I am getting the same issue with my Explorer, which I'm about to start using as no. 2 is nearly here, so was wondering if its sorted for you?
