Using Silver Cross 3D pram system in London

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, of using this pram system in London? I'm considering buying it, but think it is perhaps too bulky and wondering what others thought. Thanks.

Not had one personally but a friend did, was very heavy and a PITA on buses and tubes (V hard on tubes and escalators and stairs)

She bought a bugaboo bee when her DS was 7m old and sold the Silver cross!
