I have a Quinny Zapp and want to use it with a Maxi Cosi carseat, do I need to get adaptors to attach it?

Hi,

I have a 2 year old Quinny Zapp which we only used from 6 months with DS2, but which I am now planning to use occasionally from birth with the new baby due March next year.

As we don't have a baby carseat either I was thinking about getting a carseat that we can use with the Quinny Zapp, rather than getting a new pushchair for just a few months' use. However, I'm getting a bit confused!!

It seems that the Maxi Cosi range of carseats can be fitted to the Quinny Zapp frame, making it suitable from birth. But I'm sure I read somewhere that you need special adaptors to actually make it attach to the pushchair frame. Trouble is, I can't remember where I saw this and can't find any reference to them online in shops that sell the Zapp and the Maxi Cosi, so now I'm wondering if I dreamt it?!?!? Confused

Does anyone have this combination of pushchair and carseat? Would I need to get adapators as well as the carseat? Or do you just click it together?

Many thanks! Smile

the adaptors would have come with the pushchair I believe. Yes you do need them.

OK, thanks. I was beginning to think I was imagining things!!

I don't think they came with the pushchair, but even if they did they would be long gone by now!!

Will check out the link. Thanks!Smile
