Stroller for a 3 yr old - urgent!

My McLaren has just died on me so I need a pushchair/ stroller for DS who is a very big 3 year old.

We'll be using it for the mile walk to/ from nursery each day and for trips around town, DS does not like walking long distances!

Need some suggestions in the next hour so I can pop out and buy it this afternoon ready for nursery tomorrow. We have Asda, Mothercare and Argos nearby.

There is a cheap bjcm on sale board on here for 55.

I found my BJCM nightmarishly heavy to push and get up kerbs compared to a Micralite with a 35lb child in it.

Am off to the shops tomorrow to test drive the pushchairs you suggest. We managed nursery on the bus this morning.

DS can't scoot, seems to have a mental block and pulls his scooter along behind him. Is pretty good on his balance bike but not quick enough when I'm late for work !
