Maclaren XLR's from Kiddicare...?

Hi, has anyone got their mac xlr from kiddicare.com recently? They're a great price but I'm trying to figure out if they're older stock - with older frame hinges - or newer stock with non finger pinching hinges?

I just took delivery of a Mac Owen (rider) from Mothercare (sale) and was dissapionted to find it was very OLD stock (2007!) with wheels with spokes, old style harness, and no hinge covers supplied!!!

I am now wanting to order the xlr from kiddicare (due to lower price with them) - but their customer service don't answer calls this late in the day - so can't answer my queries! I don't want to be lumbered with old stock again. Thinking of getting the black/champagne or Navy/Penguin option. Need to order soon (in time for half term train trip!!!).

Mothercare have of course appologised for me being sent such old stock of the Mac Owen (came direct from Maclaren) and have arrange to have it collected on Thursday - but refund probably won't get done until next Tuesday!

Actually, don't worry - I have changed my mind again....got a BJCM! (should never have sold the one I had!)...will be just as practical for travelling - and works out cheaper - plus used the following code:
AFPE22 for 10% off......(off baby stuff over £50 - and got mega points worth £25 too!)
Lovely. As I already have the footmuff/play tray/bumperbar for my BJ summit and they can be used on the BJCM too!
