Help please - P&T E3 vs Sport?

Am thinking of getting a 2nd hand P&T for when DC2 arrives next month, DS will be 2.6.
It appears to be a good slimline option for transporting 2.
We currently have a Bugaboo Frog and buggy board, but think DS will probably want to have a sitting option for longer walks.

Please could someone enlighten me about the difference between the E3 and Sport models?

Also any words of wisdom /opinions about P&Ts would be much appreciated.

TIA

They are not very different, the sports pushing handle is adjustable and the 2nd seat has a zip on it that enables a bit of a recline neither of which are on the E3, however the sport 2nd seat fits the E3. I would take your DS to try one out though as we have just sold our E3 as DD is too tall when it's set up for a newborn and a toddler to get the raincover on or hood up and I know I am in a long line of people who have had the same issue

that said it's a great piece of kit and we had a good 3 years use out of ours

Thanks Hevster, that's really helpful.

Must admit I'm surprised at the (high) prices they seem to go for 2nd hand having watched ebay for a couple of days, may have to rethink the double pram idea.

Will definitely do a trial run before we make any decisions.

i had the same problem as hevster,so i bought a vibe as its a bit bigger and the bar at the top of the second seat is padded, but its so heavy and a compleate nightmare to push,so im selling it and getting a babyjogger side by side.
definitely do a trial run,and id try a side by side, they're not as wide as you'd think!
