Never couriered a buggy before and am slowly getting round to selling my old mb. Have just found the original bag for it, but don't really have anything else to pack it in - what do you suggest oh wise ones

I have courered a Jane 3 wheeler and just floded it and wrapped it in thick clear packaging (think it was an industrial refuse bag) and it went fine. I also sent another buggie but had boxes as i had seat unit, chassis and carrycot.

Really - sure I could do that then - thank you. Do you need to know its weight?

Couriers usually go on weight, size and distance, but weight may well be on MB website, then add a bit for packaging. When I sold my Buzz it went by Parcelforce - v easy from PO - rather than sorting out a courier.

i usually use parcel2go for strollers etc but senditnow if good for bigger buggies/prams they are usually good, they use parcelforce but are half the price of going through parcelforce directly!!!

i sold my obaby xi (similar to phil and teds) i took the wheels off,and the doubles seat, folded it,fitted the double seat and wheels in the most compact way,put bin bags over it and wrapped it using 2 rolls of brown tape, just make sure its all well covered in tape otherwise it might get ripped.

do you mean the travel bag jan? it will be fine in that if it is and strong black bin liners. Check couriers small print some won't take unless boxed.

Bubble wrap and 2 boxes one inserted into the other if that makes sense. Parcelforce can pick up, much cheaper bought through ebay than direct with them I think if you're ebaying.
