Which buggy board with a Loola?

As the title says - I'm 37 weeks pregnant and have a 3.2yo DS. I don't want a double buggy so am looking at buggy boards.

It needs to be sturdy as we don't drive and I walk everywhere/get the bus. I would also like to avoid one that will bash my feet as I walk - is this even possible?!

Someone has recommended the Lascal buggy board to me as it folds away when not in use, but I wondered if anyone else has used a board with a Loola (old model with two handles) - any recommendations?

The only thing I will say with the loola is when rear facing it sticks out quite a bit over the back (especially when reclined as the footrest comes up if that makes sense) so it can be a bit of a squeeze for a toddler.

However, I have had a Litaf seat to go, and a basic one on one and they were ok. The basic (like Lascal) was the best fit. There is a website (is it Lascals itself?) that tells you the fit of every pushchair so you can see before you buy.

The other option is a buggy pod - I know I've read somewhere that someone has had one of these on the side of a Loola and it worked well.

I'm thinking I'll mostly use the car seat with wheels at first (we'll only be doing short journeys to preschool/shops) so the rear-facing thing shouldn't be too much of a problem...am hoping that a few weeks into it, DS1 will have learned to cope with not being in a buggy any more!

No,the litaf doesnt fold up. It is a bit of a squeeze to get on too, if you dont think you'll need the sitting down part a Lascal might well be a better option.

according to this the Lascal is a 10/10 fit, where as I would say the Litaf is only a 6 or 7.

and hopefully your DS1 will be happy with no buggy - though saying that my DS1 is 4 and still jumps in his brothers pushchair whenever he gets to with the excuse "my legs are soooooo tired" He hated the pushchairs for 2 years and was a nightmare when his brother was newborn as wanted to walk everywhere - lost that enthusiasm now!!
