Baby Jogger carrycots - a question please!

Would the same carry fit a baby jogger city ELITE single and double?

Aare there different carrycots for the elite/classic or is it just 1 that fits all?

AFAIK there is just one standard carrycot.

Do you not fancy keeping your elite and buying one of those toddler seats for the front?

Was thinking of keeping elite and gettinggdoule elite later on so carry cot could fit on both.

There is a seat, can't remember the name though, that sits on the front of it. Joey, hopper or something froggy. I really can't remember.

I've looked on the BJ site, but can't find it.

Might be worth emailing them? I can remember someone had one on MN and they imported it from USA.

I can't find it anywhere in the USA apart from Toys R us and I'm not sure if they would ship it over?!

about $99 and the hood is $40 but worth it i think.

Definitely, saves you a fortune buying a new double pram. And you know it'll be easy to push.

www.countrymoosekids.com will send to the UK - it's a Jump seat - get the canopy for it - and a bog standard tandem raincover off ebay (like the ones that fit the tandem graco) and you'll be sorted.
The jump seat is huge and fab - and will last for ages.
Be patient when ordering from the USA and prepared to pay a little import duty - it is worth it mind you.

costs about £100 from memory (although I did splash out on the coolbox that fits beneath the seat - and a clip on air pump - and other stuff)....so maybe it's less. I wasn't really counting - didn't break the bank and it was so useful and meant no hefty double stroller to store.

Sorry! I just checked and it looks like they haven't got any now. You could email and see if they'll be getting more stock in and if so when. Otherwise Google to find another usa website that has them.
