what do you love / hate and why?

I need a lightweight stroller for ds 16 months as my mura 3 is getting a bit heavy as I have my nephew all week and carry him whilst I'm pushing ds.

I was thinking a silvercross pop as I saw one in mc today for £95 - anyone have one? yay or nay?

heeellllppppp :o

I have a obaby sport plus, brilliant stroller, easy to push even when heavy. U can get them 4 about £75 online

maclaren quest (second hand?) . You can't beat them and your nephew can stand on the bar at the back.

Was thinking about the quest, I didn't know about the bar at the back either.

Thanks for the replies - anyone second the suggestions ?

Oh, it's not meant for a child to stand on, but it does work very well.

nicolamumof3 · 17/09/2010 20:32

personally wouldn't push with child standing on bar at back it will break!

but quest is a far superior stroller than pop much much nicer. how old is nephew?

sazm · 17/09/2010 21:24

a friend of mine used a quest with her child on the back, its lasted about 6 years with her using it like this and still going strong!!!

BertieBotts · 17/09/2010 21:26

If you use it every day then I'd definitely go for the maclaren. Second hand if cost is an issue.

The obaby is a good pushchair (I had the atlas sport) but it's not as hardwearing as a maclaren and you might find it harder to steer as your DS gets heavier.

Thanks for the replies guys :o

I went for the quest in the end.

Don't think I'll trust the bar though - ds will be in the buggy and nephew will be carried for a while yet - he's a year now but small and light still!

Can't bear the idea of a double just yet - that's a whole new minefield lol!
