Pushchairs
Baby Jogger City Elite

Hi
I am just starting to research the confusing world of choosing a pushchair/pram for baby coming in Jan-11. I am slightly bewildered by the range of choices and decisions to make!
Have been looking at the baby city jogger elite - has anyone used this and what do you think?
Any suggestions gratefully received
Thanks

I've had one and it is a lovely pram. Very sturdy but easy to push. I'd think a newborn would be a bit lost in it though, would you be buying the carrycot as well?
It's a bugger to pick up if you needed to fold it and put it in a car a lot, I sold mine for this exact reason.

If you need to use a buggyboard with it, it wont work, otherwise its a great buggy.
I had it for a toddler so not sure about newborn, do the BJ carrycots fit it?

apparently they do carrycots that fit it so I guess that would be ok for a newborn.
5inthebed - Is it v heavy if its a complete pain to fold and put in the car a lot? I thought they were supposed to be easy to fold and v lighweight - maybe I have picked that up wrong?
