Bugaboo Frog 2 questions--please help!!

Hi, we recently bought a frog secondhand and love it. We've only just noticed when someone else pointed it out that when the seat is tilted flat, it actually is tilting too far back so that my son seems to have his head pointing slightly downward. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Is there a fix? When we take the seat off and look at both the seat and the chassis everything looks straight.

Also, does anyone know if there are frog specific foam wheels or if the cameleon foam wheels fit the frog?

Thanks for any help!

Hi, my frog had the tilting back thing too when the seat was forward facing, never bothered DD or I as when you actually look at it though, because of the bucket seat, their head is still higher than their body.
There are no foam wheels for frog I'm afraid, but the foam cam wheels fit perfectly. So do the cam front wheels for that matter, if you fancy adjustable suspension.
In fact, I did change my frog for a cam piece by piece, as all the pieces except for the fabrics will fit either pushchair, ie frog seat frame fits on cam chassis, and vice versa, cameleon hood frame and clips fit on frog seat (useful if you have a faded hood or wanted to liven it up a bit) only bits that dont fit are cameleon hood fabric wont fit frog hood frame and vice versa, and cameleon seat/carrycot fabric is too big for frog seat frame etc.

Thanks so much. Any idea what causes the tilting? Did it happen with the pram cot as well?

I emailed a company about the Cam foam wheels and was told they wouldn't fit a Frog so i didn't buy them...So guessing that wasn't correct and they do fit after all???

I have used cam foam wheels on a frog. I think as long as its the newer version frog (3 circle logo) rather than the very old version (logo looks like an alien crop circle?) then they should fit. Alternative is you take your frog into mothercare tell them you want to order some foam wheels but want to be sure they fit before you order, so please could you try them? it only takes a second to pop the wheels off.

Just bumping to see if anyone else knows anything about the tilt problem?

This is good to know for sure as I am just about to get some cam foam filled wheels for my frog which I am trying to jazz up for baby no3. Any idea where to get them? Only place I have found so far is lullaby's - do John lewis etc do them.

I used the from for my first 2 but I can't honestly say I noticed the tilt problem? Will look again tommorow as am just in the process of putting it all back together again. TBH we didn't use it much in the fully reclined I dont think as when they were really little we had them in the carry cot or the maxi cosi on top - I think after about 6 months they mainly used to nap in the intermediate position.

Sorry just noticed you said mothercare - any idea how much they cost?

Thanks

john lewis stock and will order in spares for the bugaboo pushchairs.

i think i remember my frog seat looking tilted back slightly when the boys were fully reclined, but they never seemed bothered :)

mine is in the loft at the moment but will be getting it out shortly for ds5 due nov, i gave all the fabrics etc a good wash before packing it away so know it will be fine, this is baby no 3 to use it and have been really happy with it :)

as far as i know the chameleon wheels do fit on the frog, but again you can take it into a store like john lewis or mothercare and check before you buy :)

ds5 - wow! Mine is just gearing up for ds3!!

Thanks - will haul myself down to Mothercare and JL at the weekend.

I am also trying to get a foam insert for an old Maxi Cosi Cabrio headhugger - don't suppose you by any chance know where to get one of these do you? I tried Halfords who said they would order it but they never got back to me ...
