Is the Bee + really worth it?

I need your help to convince me to go for it as it seems such a lot of money.

Am due in November and have a 3 year old already so was thinking the Bee + with a buggy board would be good.

Thing is I already have a travel system from when dd was a baby (Silver Cross) but I HATE it as it weighs an absolute tonne, has rubbish manoeuvrability and I have lost the raincover! My DH though can?t understand why I want to spend money on another pushchair and I am finding it hard to justify.

DDs pushchair got relegated to the garage as soon as she was old enough to use a lightweight stroller so should I just do the same for this baby or is the Bee+ a bit more lasting?

Am in turmoil... (ridiculous I know) if the Bee was about £250 I would do it but seeing as it is so expensive I am stuck!

It was the 3D as well and I liked it as a pram but there is no way I can imagine pushing it with one hand (while holding onto DD) or with a 3 year old on a buggy board.

Just hard knowing what to do because if I buy the Bee then stop using it after 6 months for a cheapo stroller I will be so cross with myself!

Did you sell your Silvercross on ebay? Was it easy?

you wont ditch the bee. They are as compact as a stroller, and so easy to push, but look so much nicer. And if worst happens and you decide to ditch it after 6 months, you can put it on ebay and get 75% of your money back........

I'm using the bee+ for my 2y old - it's the best alround pushchair for urban living I think.

Light and compact enough for public transport - comfortable enough for everyday use and long outings - with seat in reverse you can pile loads of shopping bags/school bags in the huge basket beneath.
Easy to use - easy to keep clean.
ergonomic and comfortable for your baby child - much better than your average lie back umbrella fold if you look at their posture in the bee+ it's so much better.

Lay back is great as is hood etc. I would not part with mine!!!

The seat on the bee+ grows - so you could get your average 6y old in if you wanted - so won't be outgrown!

Thanks all - I think I have been persuaded!

Just need to decide what colour to go for..... Grin
