hi,

i am after a double pram for ds and new baby. i had thought of getting the double teutonia but can't see it anywhere and am worried ds won't fit in it! tried him in the out and about nipper but he was squashed and didn't even have a coat on...

either that or i had looked at a easywalker duo and thought it looked bigger but will have to travel to look at it.

other than these two does anyone have any others they would recommend? i would prefer something with a carrycot as new baby will be born in winter, but will look at others without.

or does anyone have the teutonia and know if it's much wider than the out and about?

thank you.

:)

Mountain buggy? Huuuuuuge. My 6yo will fit in it. And it's narrower than the nipper. Has carrycot too.

2nd the Mountain Buggy.
A dream to push.

thank you both! which model would you recommend?

also if anyone has anything to say about the easywalker i'd appreciate it-a local shop has one on offer for £399 including 1 carrycot!

i have the teutonia and it's wider than the MB, which I also have!

it IS lovely tho, and i'm selling it..... the seats are big

I have a mountain buggy double (well 5 actually) and an easywalker duo and I would say that the MB is the easiest to push by a long shot. The easywalker does again have a huge seat but I find it alot heavier to push/steer than the MB. This especially comes into play when bumping up raised curbs, the MB glides up them where the easywalker doesnt quite live up to its name. Go for an 09 mountain buggy though as have now changed hands and are made in China versus the older made in NZ better quality ones!!

ok, will have a look. thank you.

thisisyesterday what do you think of the teutonia? we're changing the car so won't have to worry about boot space! Wink i have the spirit s3 and love it and am wondering if i should just get the double as i have the accessories. what colour did you get? it seems black is the only colour available in the uk at the minute, so will have to order online again! the only thing that puts me off the mountain buggy and easywalker is that once the carrycot is used the baby will be ff...

I would alos recommend an emmaljunga double for rear facing (I have 3!!!!) and I do LOVE them too!!! :)

I love my Easy Walker and bought it in prefernce to the MB not just because it was cheaper. £399 with carrycot is an amazing price though.

If you search on here I've raved about it loads but feel free to ask any specific questions.!

Saw an Easywalker last weekend and it looked very good indeed. The lady had a newborn and then a little boy who was maybe 4 I think. She explained he needed a pushchair with plenty of elbow room as he had cerebral palsy. He was fast asleep & looked dead comfy in it - not at all squished. She had the carrycot on the other side for the newborn. I had a wee push & it was fab. The lady was very pleased with it.
I've ordered the mountain buggy 2009 model and we picked it up on Wednesday. It's a monster! Really substantial - I'm very impressed so far but have yet to take it out & about anywhere. Pushes nicely on the carpet in the front room, although after we put it together we realised its too wide to go through the living room door Blush It probably won't fit in the boot of my car either Grin but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it!

First Wheels City Twin.

i really like it. i swapped from thje mountain buggy because ds3 was unhappy facing away from me.
we tried out the emmaljunga twin nitro too, but the seats on the teutonia were much bigger so we went with that one

it's HEAVY. that's the only downside really. to push it's fine, but lifting it in and out of the car takes a bit of muscle. i can just about do it all in one, but the seat unit unclips really easily, so it wouldn't be that much hassle to just take it off to get it in the car

we have the black simply because the shop we tried it out in had that one in stock and i was desperate for it so we took it away with us!

it's a few cm wider than the mountain buggy, which is one of the slimmest you can get I think. but there is only one small lift in town that I can't get into!

I have the Emmalunga twin cerox 360 and love it. Bought it secondhand from ebay. It looks wide but isn't much wider than any side by side really. I walk miles and miles and it is a dream to push. My 10 year old niece managed to push it a couple of miles with a 2 year old and 3 year old in it!
My (gigantic) boys love it and seem very comfy- but it is a pushchair for walking and not for the car. I have a horrid horrid horrid phil and teds for the car
