Oyster - good reviews?!?!

Hi all,
We were originally looking at the iCandy apple but after seeing it in the boot of our car (good sized boot, but still virtually full with the iCandy) and hearing bad things about customer services, to the point where the shop we were looking at buying from had almost stopped selling them as things had got so bad. Anyway, while we were looking we saw the babystyle Oyster and tested it out, looked for reviews and really like it. Also liked the fact that it was £££ cheaper than the iCandy, but the shop assistant said that there wasn't really anything lacking in the Oyster. So we ordered the Oyster and are due to pick it up in the next couple of weeks, baby due 14th October.
Anyway, for some reason I looked on here and saw that people who have now had the Oyster for about a year are experiencing bad things.....aaah!
SO - any other reviews, good things needed really? Need a bit of reassurance that we haven't wasted a lot of money I guess!
Thanks!

I have heard build quality not the best I'm afraid! that said, I had an icandy pear in to sell for a friend and thought their build quality was a bit crap too! seat recline function faulty after 3 months, Icandy wouldnt replace as they said caused by too heavy child in seat, zips coming apart on carrycot fabric (only been washed twice!)
they do have good resale value though!

the only thing i heard about an oyster is that the straps on the seat unit are quite short and seat unit not very big for a toddler...
