Someone dissuade me please Wink

I need a pushchair that DS 20m can sleep in sometimes, can take my work bag in basket, can push one handed and will go over reasonable ground (AND WILL BE THE ONLY PUSHCHAIR I NEED)

Am I deluding myself?

Thanks

My sister's got one & she loves it for all the reasons you mentioned (except the bag one, not sure about that) She bought it originally when her dd was about 2 & is now using it for her newborn with the carry cot & plans on only ever using the one pushchair.

Get one, they are fab!

i think it's a superlite for me too.

i have a buggy itch that needs scratching and keep coming back to the superlite. i just got a bee off ebay but am used to the air tyres of my double MBs and P&T and the bee just didn't cut it for me. hoping the superlite will be able to handle gravel paths and kerbs and a loads of mile Grin.

did you sell your BJCM in the end? i had a moment of almost buying it >

beckstar24 · 28/08/2010 20:13

I did sell it - needed funds and whilst I like them if I've a buggy that big I'd rather air tyres IYGWIM?

Saw a couple of micralite fastfolds today and whilst they look cool (was my first pushchair til ds outgrew the carrycot at 7 weeks) I remember how rickity they are off road and am hoping the superlite has this fixed (reviews say so).

Tis ordered from Mothercare but takes up to 10 working days - holey moley!

I absolutely love mine. Have used it with both 3 year old and 15 mth old and it's easy to push with both and on pretty much all terrain. Fits down a bus aisle, recline is decent enough for this age to nap and if you could fit more in the basket or hang stuff from the handles it's be pretty much perfect. Much prefer it to my maclaren techno.

nicolamumof3 · 01/09/2010 17:25

Thats great news wedding as mine its on its way tomorrow, trading in my black xt for one, as hoping it will be an easier push for my 3yo with the air tyres. And so funky looking!

tyaca · 01/09/2010 20:30

need to get round to selling bee before i can order it. i am far too lazy to develop a buggy addiction....

what colours do people have/ have ordered. i think i may have become fixated on the superlite cause it comes in grey, and i am obsessed with grey.

weddingseason · 01/09/2010 21:10

I've got the grey! Nicola you'll love it although I found the handle a bit weird at first after being used to the maclaren. Me and DH have different favourite handle positions ....really must get a life!

nicolamumof3 · 02/09/2010 04:00

i have got the blue, should arrive tomorrow so pics of ds3 in it to follow!

beckstar24 · 02/09/2010 08:33

Mine came yesterday - and whilst it's not lurve it's definitely like. It's really manoeuvrable and has lovely big tyres at the back - bbut feels sturdier than my previous fastfold (although that was the first every batch in 2005). Seat fabric is weird but fine.

Two major gripes though - seat recline is ok but getting it back to upright with a toddler in near on impossible - although am sure will get used to it in time.

Seconddly, there is a strap that goes from the footrest at the front to the brakes at the back - meaning the basket isn't open for really huge things (bit like old style lools with teh cross but only a strap). I'm really hoping someone comes along and says I can take this off somehow??

Saying this my 5 year old was pushing my 4 year old around this morning no problems, and she then insisted on staying in it to watch tv so obviously comfy. Love the way it's freestanding when folded too.

Sorry for epic - haven't used outside yet to see if this is definitely the one, but it's a stayer for a while at least, which is high praise indeed.

Hope yours come soon

mine is due this afternoon between 2 & 3pm, yes i've heard about the strap weird that isn't it. did you get a liner? i want one but couldn't afford it at the time. but think may have enought funds now if i like it!!

as for the recline that wouldn't matter for me if he wanted it back upright after a nap he could jump out first. Very rarely sleeps anyway. Not sure it will be that good for winter as quite exposed so may just hang on to nipper by then. thanks for great review.

beckstar24 · 02/09/2010 09:05

I didn't buy a liner as the reviews of it were't great - jsut using the bottom bit of my pupabag muff as it's windproof and ties on at the top (and goes so perfectly).

it does look very cool though - am lurving the matt black

PS - please let me know what you think when yours comes
