3 wheel prams

Hi please could people give me there opinion on 3 wheel prams compared to 4 wheels. I walk/train dogs for a living and go to many out door dog shows, so i need an off road pram. I thought the 3 wheeled prams would be best however my other half is worried it will tip. Has anyone experienced this problem.

the only one I have ever known to tip was the quinny buzz, and that was rear facing with a heavy toddler on board. with a forward facing three wheeler, the weight distribution is focused at the back where the wide wheel base gives stability. They are def. the best for off road.
Dont be fooled into thinking all three wheelers are off road though, you will need air tyres and decent sized wheels.

Go for an older MB if possible. The 09 ones are far superior to the 2010 ones and invest in the carrycot. There are a few places left with new 09 ones at reasonable prices :) I HATED 3 wheelers until I tried the MBs, I dont think anything compares.

I would love a mountain buggy!! BUT if you are considering needing a double at all then the phil & teds does very very for us at flyball comps each week - we did have a cheap 2nd mothercare 3 wheeler for dog walks/comps which was fine but very heavy (we left it in the garage and was the muddy buggy!! had a smaller one for using in town etc!) - we wish we had got a phil and teds in the first place as is a great single buggy and fab as a double too!!

should ready 'cheap 2nd hand mother 3 wheeler' - was an urban detour!

I used a mothercare 3 wheeler (not sure of model) and that tipped a few times, with a 6 month old and no shopping on board. Blush

Never had a preoblem with my Phil & Ted, we take it to horse shows, out with the dog, on the beach etc and never tipped or anything. It's not great on soft sand but then I can't imagine anything is

Maxi-Cosi Mura is brilliant offroad and really spacious, got nice big wheels so can easily get over obstacles. Overall great for travelling!
