Bugaboo Bee+ hood

I recently bought a Bee+ off eBay, hardly used...I'm struggling with the hood...It's very hard to open out and when i manage it there's a big wrinkle in the fabric of the outer section so it looks untidy...Is it possible to put the whole thing together wrong...Pictures in the instruction manual are not easy to follow...Or do i just need to open and close it lots to loosen it???

yes, sounds like you have the rods in the wrong way round, that makes the fabric wrinkly. the hard to open out bit is cos the rods are too flexible and there is also lateral movement from the hood hinge. it annoyed me too, but you get the knack after a while.
