Quinny Buzz and Pebble Car seat

Hi all

We just got the Buzz and the Pebble car seat but its almost breaking our thumbs trying to get the pebble off.

I read somewhere that the pebble isn't working with the bugaboo.

I wondered if anbody else has had this problem?

I can do it now but i think I would sling a baby out if it didnt have the harness on :) or at the very least wake it up.

We got it online from Mothercare - so we can take it back but we wanted to upgrade to the pearl car seat as baby gets older.

Mothercare were not that much help they said "Where did you get the idea that it would fit?" I thought I had gone mad then looked at their website for the car site and it shows a Quinny Buzz with a pebble car seat.

I had the Buzz and Mazi Cosi seat and had the same trouble getting the seat off the frame. Eventually had a system where I released them one at a time with my foot on the wheel for leverage! Could be it's just a Buzz problem - not the best design. The carry cot was also difficult.

Thanks notasausage. Was that the maxi cosi pebble ? coz we have now just gone and swapped it for the older cabrio fix - I hope its not a buzz/maxi cosi thing.

Our carry cot is an absolute dream compared to trying to get the pebble car seat off.

Mothercare told us that the Pebble and Quinny weren't compatible (August 2010).

We got them to exchange the Pebble for the Cabrio Fix.

The Cabrio fix is much nicer to get on and off.
