My phone was killed by a bottle of coke the other week. DOne what Bexie said and stuck it in a bowl of rice, works fine now except for being a bit quiet.

Yes fixed the puncture, it was a nail!

BexieID · 26/08/2010 11:04

Aye, just take it all apart, simcard and battery out, and leave it in a bowl of uncooked rice Grin

I got DP a nice watch for his 30th, not that he wears it now, lol.

BexieID · 26/08/2010 11:05

Or was it the telescope I got him? Can't remember Blush

5inthebed · 26/08/2010 11:17

He has loads of watches and a telescope. I was thinking aftershave and some dvds as he really doesn't need anything. Nightmare!

My hubby went white water tubing for his 40th. Like rafting but in a big rubber ring, scary!

Of course uncooked rice, doh, cooked already absorbed all the water haaaa!

5inthebed · 26/08/2010 11:23

lol HMG Grin

Kids are doing my head in this morning!

5inthebed · 26/08/2010 17:15

BexieID · 26/08/2010 18:01

Do you need to print label as my printer is out of ink (again) Hmm

basl · 26/08/2010 18:07

Bexie send it now let you opt for them to put the label on. Smile

Just had a driving lesson and i am beetroot colour. Surely this is not good for the old blood vessels. I am getting on a little bit better now so pushing me a bit more and wow my face feels like it's been punched lol

Glad your enjoying your parents visit Lillypie sounds like they missed you to and spoiling you. So nice Smile

Been to school for a parent workshop on homework etc and they set up a creche. I was very impressed. Daniel played lovely and it gave me a chance to listen. So all is clear now on the follow the dots that were not there. Hmm

basl · 27/08/2010 13:03

Is there anybody there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Helllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Grin Well it is a lovely day here today very sunny indeed. Olivia's last week of half days and then mond it's 9am till 3pm. The little lamb is going to be so tired.

I have sold my bjcm to the girl that one the fight over it at toddlers.

I am home alone tonight. So may enjoy a little chat on here myself. Not done that for ages. Grin

dummmmm deee dummm laaaaa leeee daaaaa .

horsemadgal · 27/08/2010 14:16

I'm here yoooohooooo!

LOL at the woman winning the BJCM, was there bloodshed? Nice cash sale for you anyways.

basl · 27/08/2010 15:09

Ahhh my lovely HMG nice to hear from you.

No bloodshed lol but some very cross words exchanged. See i thought i was doing the girl that i walk to toddlers a favor as her pram bust and she was pushing the most awful contraption you have ever seen. She had to keep picking it up to steer it as it was such fixed plastic wheels. She was always asking about mine but forgot about the pramaholic of a friend at toddlers who apparently put her name on it the day it showed face at toddler group.

It was so funny they were really fighting over it. I felt awful but kind of out of my hands. lol kind of like the rows on here is someone put dibs on something eh?

How is your pram situation HMG still the same ones or have i missed anything?

BexieID · 27/08/2010 16:48

Which friend won the BJCM fight? Your clapped out buggy friend or the pramo?

basl · 27/08/2010 20:14

Well i am ashamed to say the pramo won. She had witnesses to back her up that she wanted it the min i was selling it. How ridiculous is all this. The clapped out buggy girl now has one of my sisters that belonged to me as i felt so sorry for her but she did then tell me she never really had the money anyway.

The pramo wants the footmuff and the funky star liner. She was foaming at the mouth. lol

She has also bought my train table and asking about all sorts of things. Imagine if i let her see the for sales board on here Grin she would not be able to contain herself and dibs on everything.

basl · 27/08/2010 20:15

My phone not working at all now so waiting for insurance claim. Olivia's Ds on the blink tonight so thats another think bit the dust. Hmm

horsemadgal · 27/08/2010 20:24

Hey basl, better it went to the one with the flash, migth not have got it off the other!

DSi's in black reduced to £99.99 in Amazon if that helps.

basl · 27/08/2010 20:46

oh that sounds good then. She loves hers and think its daniels doing again. So not bad the little man has managed to break my phone and now a DS. Shock

5inthebed · 27/08/2010 21:01

What a fight Basl! Glad they both got prams in the end.

I bought a bargain today. Tsco had Little Tikes cosy cottages for sale, reduced from £100 to £24.50 Shock so bought one and it is up in the garden. DS3 loves it!

Lilly, you going to get a MB then?

OP posts:
basl · 27/08/2010 21:14

5in you always tempt me with these bargains. I love that little bike you got. The toy story one.

Mmm don't know what my plan is with prams. Just knew i wanted to sell that one. I have lots of stuff for ebay but hate doing it.

5inthebed · 27/08/2010 21:25

I know what you mean Basl. I'm thinking of selling my Quest. I am feeling the nipper love again, think it wil be my last pram ever.

OP posts:
basl · 27/08/2010 21:30

I just wish it was that bit longer in the seat for Daniel because i really liked how light and compact it was. I think it sounds like a keeper for you 5in.

Even Olivia has a pram dilema!! She walked with me and daniel to the park today pushing her double buggy and she said it was making her arms ache. She asked if she should get rid and just get a single instead and carry the other baby. Shock Grin but i will not be getting rid as her wee brother loves pushing the double buggy Smile
