New buggaboo bee plus - really annoyed!

The new bee has to be seperated into 2 parts to fold up.

How ridiculous! The best feature of the old bee was that you could do this, even when rear-facing. It doesn't lie flat properly either.

Anyone know another front and rear-facing one-piece fold lie-flat pushchair? Or am I just going to have to get an old bee off eBay?

loola?

I thought the point of the Bee was that it was a one piece fold? Changing that seems v daft!

laweaselmys · 08/08/2010 16:26

Ah, not seen that before! Will have a look next time. Do you know if it goes properly flat or just reclines?

I have the bee plus and fold in one go both rear and forward facing!?!?!

mumface · 08/08/2010 18:55

You don't have to separate it. Watch this

Ditto the one piece fold. I gave ine and can fold it forward and rearward facing in one piece??!

suzie38 · 08/08/2010 19:15

My bee+ folds in 1 piece.

it folds one piece either way - if its rear facing, you have to fold the seat right forward so the backrest is lying on top of the seat part before you fold it.

Have you had a look at the Mamas and papas Urbo? it faces both ways, folds in one piece, is not much heavier, half the price. feels sturdier too. I have just bought one.

The bugaboo bee isnt that great IMO. It feels really unsteady. The harness is really easy for a child to undo and I dont think it is very flat for a baby.

Really confused why everyone raves about it TBH.
