Mutsy 4 Ryder

I swore I would never start a thread on prams but I could do with some advice.

With ds1 we had the mutsy urban rider travel system. I hated it. It's big clumpy and has a huge turning circle but imo it looked good and ds was always very comfortable.

Now the dilema. Mutsy have now released a new chassis that has small swivel wheels at the front rather than the rear steer (which was the thing I hated most about the pram)

what I can't decide is whether or not to buy the new chassy (which is about £240) or buy a 2nd hand travel system? Does anyone have the new chassy and do you like it?

do you mean the 4 rider light? if so, a friend is selling one at the moment, but yes, I liked it when I pushed it. seemed pretty easy to manouver even with a heavy child in it.

Which ever is the one that doesn't have one spoked wheels. Is she in the northwest? I imagine it would be difficult to stick in the post lol also how much is she selling it for?

it has spoken wheels, but the swivel ones are at the front like a conventional pushchair.
She is selling the whole pushchair, which a lovely bright aqua blue colour, its in good condition, I think she would take £150 for the lot. She is on hols at the moment though, back on sunday.

Thanks for letting me know. We have all the attachments though as we had the urban rider with ds 1 so I'm only after the chassis. It may be in your friends best interest to sell it all in one to someone that's interested as she would struggle to sell the attachment on it's own I'm sure.

We've had both too with both DSs. Liked the 4 Ryder loads. Dead easy to push around and the attachmetnts are the same as the Urban Ryder. Def prefered the 4 Ryder. Smaller and neater, and easy to drive IMO!

brilliant thank you! I have watched a very short clip on youtube of the 4ryder, was worried that it still looked quite big at the back. I was constantly bumping into people/things or knocking shelves over etc with the Urban Ryder because it had such a huge learning circle and was so wide.

Buying the new chassy would save us having to buy the entire system again.
