Hi, Im a bit of a newbie on this topic you can usually find me skulking about on the reusable nappy forum. Im ashamed to say i dont know a great deal about prams dispite having 3 children

Just out of interest, if you could choose a custom made cover for your pram or pushchair who would be interested in purchasing one? Would it be a good idea? Also what about recovering your pram? Would you concider this if it was a reasonable price?

Thanks for your help everyone :D

there are currently 3 biggies in the custom pram covers race, poshbugs, snunkie and chunkle munkle. snunkie is currently off on mat leave though I believe. All are very professional, and top quality. there are a number of copies on ebay at the moment, much cheaper, but apparently the quality isnt as good.
You will love poshbugs, she has just started doing custom cloth nappies.....
I renovate prams to sell on myself, there are quite a few of us out there, but its hard work to clean them up and not really enough people selling at the right price to make it a viable enterprise so I do it more as a hobby.

well, i don't know about custom covers but what i would liek someone to invent is a pram or buggy that has a canopy or umbrella that can cover teh 'driver' in the rain instead of having to hold your brolly in one hand and steer a heavy buggy up and down curbs with teh other. recipe for getting soaked.

if you could invent that i would buy it.

Lol there is an umbarella that attaches to the pram handles so you dont have to hold it! I cant remember where i saw them though lol.

Yer i was thinking more of recovering so stipping them off and redoing really but in a choice of fabrics and paterns or maybe removable ones. Im not starting yet as i have enough making and selling nappies but it maybe something im interested in doing in the future if people would actually go for it

Thanks for your help guys :D
