Wondered if anybody could help or has found themselves in a similar situation. I have a mamas and papas switch pushchair for my DS who is nearly 8 months.
Have been reasonably happy with it until last few weeks (altough it is a tad rickety). Have noticed that it seems to be pulling (in both directions)and its become really difficult to handle. Took DS for a 30 min walk today and my arms were aching afterwards. It's clearly faulty but I can't find the receipt! What do you think I should do? Do you think they'll laugh at me if I complain without proof of purchase? Am so annoyed as it was so expensive.

You might have a bank statement it would be on...I know M&P aren't renowned for their great customer service but if you can prove you paid them on such and such a date that will usually do.

It's basically unfit for purpose and they ought to repair it or replace it.

No they won't laugh at you for taking it back if it's faulty, but you may have a fight on your hands. My experience of Mamas and papas customer service was dreadful, but after 3 months I did finally get a new pushchair.

When you bought the pushchair did they take your details. When I bought mine they took my details and told me that was so if I lost the receipt they could still find the details of when I bought the pushchair. If so they can look this up in store.

Anyway still take it back even without the receipt. Mamas and Papas are supposed to gaurentee their pushchairs for 2 years so you are well within that.

Their customer service is lousy. Although they do guarantee their pushchairs against manufacturing defects/faults, their normal response is that its not faulty, its user error/figment of their imagination/they are all like that, its just the way its supposed to be. As PPs have said, the lack of receipt shouldnt matter, as unless you paid cash, you will have proof of purchase on your credit card/bank statement.

Similar happened to mine, but the wheels had mud in them. It might be worth a quick look / clean up first.. They tend to stick a bit.
