Anyone had this pram or know of anyone who has had it and loved it?

So far is the only pram i have really liked but wanted some opinions first. Even if anyone just googles it and tells me what they think. All opinions appreciated.

Thanks Mumsnetters

Have you seen the Kiddicare video, and the Baby2k one?

No first hand experience of it, but looks good. Good fold, even with the seat on, washable fabrics, rear/forward facing, good size basket. Very similar to the Concord neo, but the rider looks to have a more stable chassis.

The only downside is the matrix. Have read reviews in the past, and while it looks good and useful for long journeys lying flat, it is very heavy to carry and takes up two seats.
If you need to have it rear facing you can only have it in the fully sitting up position, and it is very upright - parents have complained that their babies heads were lolling forwards when asleep and so not supported. It doesn't get good reviews because of this. I don't know whether the latest model has remedied this. Another thing is that they don't fit in supermarket trolleys, even upright, so parents have to buy another car seat. And so expensive! Don't buy one until you've seen one for yourself and had a trial fitting in your car.

You might be better off getting the full carrycot and a strata car seat, or a last years model matrix just as a carrycot, and a strata. The strata did well in Which? magazine review of infant carriers, very safe.

Hi, we've got the Jane Rider Matrix travel system but junior hasnt arrived yet so cant comment on practicality of use with a baby in it. However, having spent the last 2 months playing with it (whilst empty) I absolutely love it. The Rider is an excellent buggy, really sturdy, very easy to steer and an absolute breeze to fold up and down. Its folds into a very small unit which is fairly lightweight and the wheels are easy to remove if you need it to go smaller.

The new Matrix has been improved and is considerably lighter than the old car seat/carrycot version. Cant comment on the shopping trolley issue yet but do think they have rectified the car seat position issue as it seems no more upright than any other system I've looked at. The pro-fix system is also great for removing the matrix with one-hand.....I'm pants at working these things and I can manage it one-handed and with ease.

All in all I'm really impressed by the system so far, but as I said, its still to be tested out by the person whose opinion really matters
