No idea on the urbo but bee plus is easy to fold and fab in every way.

mazba · 12/07/2010 21:40

I am having the same issues too! I have ordered the urbo but still thinking should I get the bee+ ???
I like the urbo as its different and quite compact. The sales assistant made it look easy to fold, shame there are not many reviews about it.

weddingseason · 13/07/2010 19:28

I don't have bee experience but thought the urbo was lovely and solid to push when I played with it in store.

Bought Sola in the end though as liked the bigger wheels and slightly cheaper price. Urbo definitely looked easy to fold though.

Have you still not decided yet? Having both in the house trust me the urbo just does not compare to the Bee+

lynn7300 · 14/07/2010 10:46

NO...GOT TO DECIDE TODAY....FOUR DAYS PRAMLESS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE...I AM LEANING TOWARDS THE URBO BUT THERE IS A 10 DAY WAITING LIST....

No mine is for someone else just I am letting her pay bit by bit for it. They had them in the Bristol M and P shop last week and also a shop called Trendy Baby in Clevedon if you wanted one quickly?? Bee+ is out of this world though

clarechick · 17/07/2010 11:00

I'm in the same boat as you lynn7300. DH and I have tried both out in the shops and like the ease of use of both. We are looking for something small to fit into a Polo and suitable from birth. We find the urbo is slightly more straight forward for ease of use but a bit worried its only just on the market and had a bit of concern about the front wheels locking in store ( locking switch was a bit tricky). Also as buying for baby from birth trying to weigh up the pros and cons of the carry cot option for the urbo or the baby nest for the bugaboo..... not sure if we will get the full use out of the carry cot.... any advise would help!!!

carrielou2007 · 17/07/2010 17:13

I like babies in carrycots hence having a bugaboo cameleon but I also bought the original bee with a nest and was really suprised how lovely and snuggly it was. It was small, my son is five months and would be well out of it (wearing 9-12 clothes and very long!) If I had to buy just one or the other though I would get Bee+ as if you find after a few weeks you hate it they hold their price really really well. The urbo tend not to hold their price so far which is fine if you will use it for the next two years but not if you sell it as you want the bee+!!!

carrielou2007 · 17/07/2010 17:14

clarechick there's a pic on my profile of my ds in the urbo

clarechick · 17/07/2010 19:40

Thanks carrielou for your advise - just back from another trip to the shops to see both again with DH and my mum. really keen to now buy either one with a footmuff or the nest and have ruled out the carry cot at present. Sounds like you like the Bee better - as there is about £100 between both, just trying to work out if the Bee is worth the extra money.....

carrielou2007 · 17/07/2010 20:57

Much much much prefer the Bee+, I did not like the orig Bee though. Urbo is 299, Bee+ is 460 plus footmuff 89.99 and nest, there is 10% mothercare code which is what I used does knock a wee bit off??

Multimummy · 17/07/2010 23:37

You never know if Mothercare will put on another promotion on the Prams. At the time i ordered, there was 10% off at checkout, and another 10% code i found on the voucher's board here. Ended up paying £370 i think, including the hood!

Multimummy · 17/07/2010 23:41

Sorry, that price was for the bee+. You could try asking if there's going to be another discount online.

mamatomany · 18/07/2010 07:50

August bank holiday there'll be another mothercare code, bet you

goldengita · 27/08/2010 13:56

Ive got the urbo (as well as a few others now)! I simply love it! Its so great to use and push and is really easy to get around central London streets, inside shops and onto buses and on the tube. My best friend has the bee and her six month year old looks like he will be growing out of the bee pretty shortly. When I put him in my urbo he had plenty of space! I think it's greets value for money and easy to use too. I would reccomend it to everyone! Plus my little girl sleeps like am angel in it!

Liz79 · 27/08/2010 22:06

I would get the bee+ and then get a baby nest and foot muff from snunkie, much nicer and cheaper than the bugaboo ones
