Just got some samples through today!

It looks good, it's very cheap...

Is there anything else i need to know? it's for a kitchen/diner/living type area.

Would you recommend it?

The price and quality seemed to vary wildly when we were looking a few years ago. As someone said, it might be worth scratching your samples to see what happens?

Ours was in a conservatory-type room, with French windows onto the garden, and it only scratched once, which was when I forced a sticking door open, not realising that what had caused it to stick was a sharp stone wedged underneath it. I think that would have scratched pretty much anything.

If by any chance you live in Cambridgeshire and want to buy a spare box of CK bamboo flooring in horizontal coffee style, I have one available!

I'm not in that neck of the woods but thanks anyway!

Will check out that website though

Have been scratching our samples with a key (yes what a fun way to spend the evening!). The results are extremely varied. Some of this stuff is hard as nails, some shows the slightest scratch.

So thanks loads for the heads up on that one, it would never have occured to me to do that otherwise!
