Where can I buy good quality contemporary natural wood furniture?

Where can I buy good quality contemporary natural wood furniture? To be more specific what I am trying to find is a UK version of this fantastic Austrian company, sorry the website is only in German. One of their selling points is that the furniture is only made of wood i.e. no screws or nails, only wooden dowls and no cheap plyboard backs to wardrobes etc (al la Ikea). My first priority is a new bed but looking at other furniture to.

I like Myakka not always all wood fixings, but it's Fairtrade.

Thanks I haven't heard of either, I think the Myakka stuff is a bit darker than I'm after.

I know how you feel, I've been searching for weeks for a nice bed and can't find a thing, but then I am very fussy...

my favourite
or Ercol

Are you looking for anything in particular?

verylapsedrunner · 03/05/2009 19:52

Yes I know exactly what I want it's just that I can't buy it in the UK, it's a company called Grune Erde (Green Earth) from Austria (see my original post). We used to live there and tried to order one before we left (so could be shipped back plat packed with our house move) but they couldn't meet the delivery date. I yearn for one but can't find anything similar......
