Is Magnolia REALLY a horrid colour?

I kind of like it-or is that because I have 10 litres of it and can't be bothered buying any more! . No, really, have been trying to find an alternative as I've always had it, but the truth is, I like it . Is it really that much of an interior faux pas?

I don't think anyone can realistically call it 'horrid'. It is safe and neutral. Or you could call it dull. On the other hand, you could say it was 'a blank canvas' against which you you could put all manner of weird and wacky furniture, sculptures and paintings.

I have quite a few magnolia walls, I think, though they have the addition of various handprints and spillages to give them depth
