Has anyone bought this Vortex high sleeper gaming bed from Very that can give a review?

Im looking for reviews on this bed. I am looking at buying my boys a high sleeper each. They share a room and trying to make use of limited space. We all like this one but it has zero reviews and not much info.

In what way is it a ‘gaming’ bed? Other than having space underneath for a desk with a console and monitor?

I wouldn’t be encouraging your sons to be gaming in their bedroom. Too many boys and young men are addicted to gaming, and it can and does, ruin lives. Also how would you know what they are getting up to online or if someone is grooming them.

Not what you asked but why on earth would you want your child to have a huge screen in their bedroom?

Lol god aren't you all judgy! Its called a gaming bed but I like it for the wardrobe, drawers and desk for my boys to do their homework... also we liked the colour.

Not sure why you're getting a pile on - it's just a desk bed with a bit of marketing spin! As you say OP I'd be very wary with no reviews.

Ok then. Yes it’s wonderful.

The IKEA high sleeper is cheaper and has more storage it can also be configured in different ways to either have a wardrobe or cupboards with shelves and a different number of drawers, the desk is also full sized.

I don't like the look of that one personally, but I'd be very wary of buying anything with no reviews at all

You can get similar for much cheaper - if you try ikea you can build the bits you want. I only say that because my DS high sleeper days weren’t long enough to justify the cost before he needed a normal bed again.

This one, have a look at the video, we actually have it configured in a third way due to the shape of DS' room, you can use any IKEA door handles on it not just the yellow ones shown

We have it, it's very sturdy, and we bought it because my older niece had one for years and now my younger niece has it! Take a deep breath before you build it though it takes a while ...
