Boiler cover and servicing options for landlords in London

We currently use Your Repair for Landlord Boiler Cover. This provides a boiler safety check but no boiler service. We pay £28 per month. Do most people use a company like this and then pay for a boiler service or go for an all in one? If so any recommendations? We are in the London area. Thanks.

Crikey, I would just change the boiler for a new one with a long warranty (ie worcester/Bosch) and then pay £90 a year for a service rather than £336 in monthly payments and then another £90 for service.
I dont know if its available to Landlords but another option that BOXT offer is a 10 year purchase/service plan. Its about £45 a month and for that they come and install a new boiler, its guaranteed and serviced by them for 10 years. Then becomes yours.

Where in London? We used to find more local was better.

I asked a landlord friend who she used (a local plumbing company) and if she was happy. She was. I booked them. They do it. No drama.

£28 a month is £336 a year for what's only a safety check, with a full service still to pay for on top, so it's definitely worth shopping around. From an engineer's point of view, most landlords either go for an all-in-one plan on a newer boiler, or pay for an annual service (usually £80-120) and keep a repair fund instead.
