Is there anywhere you can see Argos/Habitat furniture already put together?

Im interested in the Ikea PAX wardrobe, our nearest Ikea is about 1.5hrs away (in good traffic, such a nuisance).

I have noticed that Argos are now doing a wardrobe called Munich which is much the same as the style I wanted from Ikea, similar size although not quite as big but much cheaper (obviously)

But its still a hefty amount of money and a lot of hassle if, once put together, its not up to scratch or standard and I need to return it.

Argos doesn’t really have showrooms anymore. Have you tried searching for it on Instagram or TikTok, people might have posted videos or detailed photos of what it really looks like in situ.

If you use Argos' website instead of their app, sometimes people post photos of the item they have bought as part of their review.

I find it really helpful, as sometimes if they have an issue with the product they will inclue a photo about it.

No idea but I’ve bought from both places before and Argos stuff is nowhere near the build quality of PAX. Depends how long you intend to keep it and how perfectly the thing fits where you want it.
We’ve had PAX that have lasted two moves and still great condition and they have a million internal configuration options. We did have a cheap Argos one that was absolutely fine but I wouldn’t have wanted to take it down and rebuild it.

Likewise. Id get PAX sooner than Argos stuff any day. Its much better quality.

Argos never has displayed everything they stock but Munich is a Habitat wardrobe so you might be able to see it in one of their furniture showrooms or Sainsburys Home stores .
I disagree , Habitat furniture is as good if not better quality then IKEA

I need an awful lot of hanging space and so does OH. While we're doing things, we have our clothing on rails, so we have 2 x 2m rails one for him and one for me, thats our hanging area. and then I still have a massive chest of drawers, he has 3 smaller chests (bedside table size) and then I have a smaller chest, all full of other clothes. Plus tons of stuff on top of that. I cant work out which offers me the most space really. Need to check if we can get the taller PAX
