Where to find a French vintage style chest of drawers affordably?

Hi all,
I've been looking for a chest of drawers in the French vintage style but even the pre owned the range price it's being outrageous in the €500 up. Do you have any recommendations of places in Ireland or Northern Ireland that I could fund with a better value?.

I've tried adverts.ie but without success

I'd use Google Lens, upload that picture and search for one available near you.

You may then find a second-hand one online on ebay, gumtree etc.

Have you tried antique shops? I was looking at some genuine French vintage furniture today and they were cheaper than reproduction. This was in England though, might be different in Ireland.

I’d look at auctions in your area. Chests of drawers like the photo often go for between £40 - £100 in our local auctions ( England- midlands)

Yees! I looked at eBay in England and there are so many great options. Unfortunately here we have a quite poor selection.

I've been looking for bedroom furniture and found this company just today. A bit cheaper but I can't see where they delivery too. Maybe give them a call.

Look at auction houses and antique shops in areas near to Irish ports with ferries to and from France.

I was watching a programme on television a while ago and they were at an antique place on the English south coast. The owner said they often went over to France on buying trips.

We got a lovely Victorian chest of drawers that had been done up on eBay. Bought about 10 years ago and one if my best buys. Also gumtree or any local antique furniture shops.

Have a look at Vinterior they have some stunning French chests of drawers. I don’t know if they ship to Ireland, but they are only the agent for individual sellers so contacting a seller direct might help.
