Moving from London to Cheltenham - areas

Looking at moving from London to Cheltenham - specifically The Park area - can anyone tell me if this is a good area? It’s a listed house we’re looking to renovate if all goes through. We have children in primary school.

The park is a lovely area, close to town and the bath road. Schooling may be a problem depending on ages of your children. Looking ahead to secondary you’re unlikely to get balcarras or leckhampton high from that location if that is your aim. St James would be the closest primary or warden hill and they are likely both full. You might get a place at lakeside, St John’s, Oakwood.
