How long is Land Registry taking to register lease extensions?

Hi, does anyone have any ideas how long it's taking to register with Land Registry? We are looking to extend our lease but getting mixed reports of timescales from a couple of days to solicitor saying "many months".

Sorry, not the question you asked, but are you sure you want to extend before all of the leasehold reform bill comes into effect. I took advice and was advised to wait. You’re probably across this and have your reasons for doing it now, but just in case….
