I need a cheap rug, jute or sizal type 240cm x 240cm AND 190cm x 240cm

Any ideas? Ive been what seems like every single website, but I need to keep the price down and this seems a strange size and shape for most of these websites

Tesco had some very nice large rugs in x 2 colours 1/2 price when I was there today. They seemed large.

Go to one of your local carpet shops and look at their roll ends. Get them to whipp you up a rug in your exact sizes.

I have these down in my living room for the dog (arthritic dog vs laminate floor) with anti slip stuff underneath. They get chucked in the washing machine from time to time and can be used outdoors if you want.

I like jute or sisal and it seems really expensive.

Jute and sisal are plant based, and labour intensive to gather and make, so they end up costing a fortune.

Man made fibres or cotton come up cheaper usually because they can be mass produced.

The sizes you want are very large and not commonplace.

You can't clean jute or sisal and they shed bits when they get wear and tear.

Can confirm, my baby was sick on the jute rug the other day it got so enmeshed 😫

These are probably more than you want to spend, but it might work out better as an investment.

One advantage with jute and sisal is that they are bio-degradeable.

All our rugs are jute and/or sisal, they're the only rugs I have. Ive had a few over the years

And yes the living room one is now stained with cat sick. Time to replace.
