im looking for recommendations for print magazine subscriptions please, for a family member who’s buying her first house. It’s just a 2 bed Victorian terrace, so not magazines full of Georgian rectories, more “here’s what we did with a small house on a normal person’s budget. TIA

"Readly", it's a digital platform subscription with full access to thousands of publications including the back issues.

House & garden, Your Home, Elle Decoration and more..........plus other magazines that she may like to browse, Hello!, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, photography, cars.......

Far better value than an individual magazine.

I like Living Etc. I subscribed to that when I bought my 2 bed Victorian terrace.

Our local library subscribes to PressReader. If you have a library card, you can access thousands of magazines online free of charge. Find out if you have that service locally as I find it brilliant.

The renovation book by Marianne Suhr

SPAB subscription

these are both to do with how to correctly and respectfully renovate an old building

I used to like Living Etc, but it has been a while since I got it.
