I bought a nest of carved tables from gumtree. I didn't notice the marks straight. They're really useful so I'm keeping them but would love to get rid of the marks.
Any advice? TIA

That looks like watermarks. My mum swears by a small amount of mayonnaise ( leave on for a few hours & then wipe off ) or try using some baking soda. I hope you manage to restore the table it looks beautiful!

I had read that somewhere and thought it sounded too good to be true. I'll try that tomorrow and if it doesn't work I'll get the liberon. Thanks.

You dip a cotton tea towel in water, wring it out and place over marks. Then you iron on a hot iron on top of tea towel. Ask the team towel dies the marks will remove.

Get some Liquid Gold wood reviver on it. You'll be amazed at the transformation, the stuff is magic. Your table will look a thousand times better.

@caringcarer I had a wooden table with watermarks and did exactly that. Table was as good as new.

If all of the above fail try some teak oil, apply it to the cloth, rub into the wood following the grain, leave for 10/15 minutes and then buff with a clean cloth along the grain 🤞for you OP!
