Should I take source of funds documents to the conveyancer's office?

Running up to completion, the conveyancer is only now ramping up demands for documents re source of funds to copy them for anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. To save time and back-and-forthing, I am tempted to just take my files in to the office and let her select which docs she needs. Is this a good idea? Btw I am completely innocent.

This is very late in the day for this? We had to provide all these documents at offer stage and it was done digitally

Yes - I find that being proactive in house purchasing is necessary these days. It’s almost like conveyancers only ask for one thing at a time.

Offer to take the paperwork into the office but follow any other instructions they give you.

Source of funding should be done at the beginning of the transaction. Are you saying you have exchanged and only showing it now?

No, this very late demand has come with completion in sight. Previous demands were at the beginning, as usual. I now suspect it has to do with a previous house sale of mine that was through PMLaw, a big law conglomerate that recently collapsed amid fraud allegations. I'm surprised this has not received more attention. Thousands are left in limbo with their house transactions https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0q9x04k42qo
