Where in England outside Greater London has the best private healthcare?

I'm moving in to remote self employment and looking at leaving London. Private health insurance will be a core expense but I'm dreaming of the property savings we can make. Where in regional England has the best private healthcare on offer?

Strange Q! For the most serious things or emergencies you need the NHS.

Otherwise you’d just want to be within reasonable travel time to a bigger city, where there will be lots of private healthcare.

Well it depends, Cheshire is good for mental health but not necessarily other conditions as each place has specialist. With private healthcare you get to choose where you receive treatment or we do anyway with AXA healthcare.

I’d move to a place where you think you’d be happy and source flexible health care that allows you to choose where you want to be treated. I’d also look for somewhere with a well rated hospital nearby.

Look up your preferred provider and move to one of their hospital locations?

The private hospitals in Reading have always seemed good to us, but that is possibly too close to London for you.

Most bigger cities have some sort of private hospital.

but in general really specialist care whether state or private is in London.

We’re in Cheshire and we’ve found the NHS service to be great. We moved from N.Wales though where it felt pretty non existent so maybe I just think it’s good 🤷🏻‍♀️
Lots of private healthcare round here too.
