Buying rented property from family member, can I speed up conveyancing?

HiyaI am currently buying the property i rent from my SIL.

Mortgage has been approved, accepted etc and solicitors have been instructed.

As it stands my solicitor is waiting to hear from SILS with draft contracts papers.

I do have the solicitors bill with breakdown of everything on it but I am just not sure if there is anything I can do to move things along quicker?

It should be quite straight forward. I’d suggest a date in about a month and tell both solicitors that’s what’s happening.

We bought our current house while renting it - was about 5 weeks in total so pretty quick. We also exchanged and completed the same day to save some time too, we did have to pay extra for this but it was only about £50
