Thinking of moving to Wylam: how bad are icy winters there?

Hi all - I’m a single mum to my baby and thinking of moving to Wylam in Northumberland. I’m getting worried about icy winter weather there - anyone have experience of living there?

It can be cold in winter. It can be mild in winter. It's not wildly different from other regions. Winter wouldn't be a reason not to live here.
