Anyone bought mdf doors to fit Ikea metod cabinets?

Hi all, looking to do a bit of a kitchen upgrade but don’t want to replace the whole kitchen. Looking to get some Ikea metod kitchen wall cabinets but wanting to buy the doors paintable / plain mdf from a separate company online. Has anyone done this and could recommend a company that’s reasonably priced? We’d like this as cheap as possible and getting them paintable means we can paint them the same colour as cabinets we’d be up cycling.

I have mdf doors from Superfront for my ikea metod cabinets. They were not cheap, and they have blown in high traffic/water areas. I wouldn't go with mdf again. They look pretty scruffy, although they are ten years old now. But they started to have issues within a couple of years. The mdf bulges when wet so you can't just paint over them again either, you have to sand them and paint them, and even then it's very noticeable.

@Fibrous. thanks for the feedback. The doors would be for wall units so wouldn’t be in wet or high traffic areas, so hoping they will be okay?. We are just looking for a cheap alternative to a new kitchen for now and aren’t expecting miracles. I was hoping to be able to get them fairly cheap!!

If the doors are vinyl coated, the vinyl peels off with a heat gun. We did this, primed and painted and now better than new.

We have a local DIY woodworking shop, they cut mdf etc to size while you wait. They can also cut doors/shaker style with hinge holes cut out as well.
We had doors cut to replace Pax wardrobe. Just an idea if anywhere local to you does the same.

@Rookrookaroundandfindout that’s great that you found that. Can’t find anything locally to us sadly!
