We've got a garden room and I'm looking for blinds to make it a bit more cozy in the evening so we can use it properly as a second living room. It is a room with lots of windows rather than a conservatory (proper roof, half brick walls and double glazed windows/doors round 7/8ths of the walls.
Lots of glass means that blinds will be a big outlay so I want something that won't date quickly and I won't get sick of, but I can't decide what I want. I have been looking at the honeycomb material that traps pockets of air and helps insulate the room, but I think they look a bit rubbish. I've also been looking at roman blinds which are quite a bit more expensive and I'm wondering if they look dated already? I don't want shutters because when it's nice outside it's lovely to have uninterrupted views of the garden so I want something that can be fully drawn back.
Any idea or tips welcome!
