If you pulled out of selling your house, at what stage did you do it and what were the reasons?

I did it after having a flat on the market for ages and getting no interest. Rented it and sold a couple of years later.

We pulled out of buying a house just before we signed the paperwork as the rooms were too small. Nothing they could do about it, they reduced the cost by £15,000 but he wasn't about the cost, it wouldn't have worked once we had kids. I felt terrible. We were chain free.

If only there was some way of finding out the room sizes before you did the paperwork.

I thought the room sizes were always on the estate agent's particulars?

In terms of being practical, the third rooms wouldn't have been able to fit a bed in it (just a 3/4 size bed). The realization hit.
