Making a hole for cooker hood vent but soil pipe in way

Any ideas how to get around this? The soil pipe runs down the exterior wall exactly where I want a hole for a new ducted hood. Is there any possible solution other than cutting the soil pipe and then doing some sort of fix?

You could get one of those hobs that has the extractor in the middle, so you don’t need a hood

chimney already bought I’m afraid plus I have to get external extract as there’s far too much moisture in the house as a result, even with a good dehumidifier

You can duct the extracted air to the side of the soil pipe, either on top of wall units or if they fit to the ceiling, through the carcass itself.
If neither of these, can you doi it in the ceiling void (my OH did this in our old house when we moved the cooker to an internal wall........ worked perfectly).

You just get a flexi hose to put on the end to lead out to the hole, wherever you can make it. Ours runs along the top of two cupboards to the outside wall to the left of the cooker hood.

We created a void to run the extractor duct through.

Did you then box the hose in or is it visible?

Ours runs at the back of the cupboards so not visible but you can box it in too.
